Business Analyst with strong knowledge of finance invoicing (part-time)

About the vacancy

UniRidge is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst to join our Finance team on a project that optimizes invoice processing, billing systems, and financial reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience working with financial data and multiple API integrations. The position is part-time, offers flexibility working 4 hours daily from 3 pm Kyiv time, and presents a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a significant project within a dynamic organization.

You will
  • Analyze projects (invoice processing, billing, and reporting), identifying areas for improvement and automation.
  • Develop and document detailed business requirements, process flows, and use cases for system enhancements. This includes conducting detailed elicitation sessions with stakeholders to gather requirements, creating user stories, and defining acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with IT and finance teams to implement proposed solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Participate in testing and validation of systems and processes.
  • Support the development and maintenance of relevant documentation.
  • Proactively identify and communicate risks and issues to stakeholders. Effectively manage expectations and communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement change management plans to ensure smooth transitions to new systems and processes.
  • Support the project with tasks such as tracking progress, managing risks, and preparing project status reports (as needed).
You have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, focusing on finance and accounting processes.
  • Proven experience with invoice processing, billing systems, and financial reporting, including multiple API integration descriptions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience working in an Agile environment is preferred. Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Azure Wiki is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
